Welcome to Zone 7, Inc.
Zone 7, Inc. is made of three different, but interwined lines of business:
The "Zone 7" name is geographically derived from the United States Department of Agriculture's (USDA) Plant Hardiness Zones. These “growing” zones are based on average minimum temperature and serve as a guide for choosing plants that will withstand that region’s climate. This particular area of South Carolina is considered to be in Zone 7, with an average minimum temperature of 5° to 10° F. Plants labeled Zone 7 and below will tolerate and survive our winter low temperatures.
