What kind of landscape below describes what you want?
Carolina Traditional: Casual to semi-formal. No more than 10 plant varieties. Clusters and layered plantings of Azaleas, Camellia, Gardenia, Crape Myrtle, Hawthorns, Mounded Hollies, Lawn Area, Low maintenance.
Carolina Garden: Expands the traditional design to include many more varieties of plants, sitting areas, bird attractions, and perennial flower accents, unusual plants sprinkled throughout the landscape, lawn winds through the garden.
Low Country Traditional: Casual to semi formal plantings, no more than 20 plant varieties expanded azalea beds, hardy palms, large type crape myrtles, oak trees, magnolias, hydrangea, gated arbors. (Zone 7/8 plants)
Mountain Cabin: Brings the Highlands look down the mountain. Uses hemlock, cedar, pine trees with native azaleas, rhododendrons, hardy ferns, wild flower meadow, rock walls, dry riverbed drainage. No lawn.
Formal: Tightly pruned and manicured look. No more than 10 plant varieties. Boxwood, holly, ligustrum, arborvitae, large hardwood trees, shrub roses, zoysia grass lawn, specimen trees.
Natural: Not wild and weedy, but loose and casual look using native plants, trees, flowers, rock accents, usually in wooded lots, keep all large trees in place, leaf mulch or pine straw.
Basic and low Maintenance: Nothing fancy, simple foundation plantings, shade trees, low maintenance, ideal for homeowners who cannot spend a lot of time in the landscape.

Zone 7 uses the above information to determine the scope of your project. Once we review this information, we will assign a designer to the project and set an appointment to meet at your site. The cost of the design portion of the project will then be determined.

$60.00 – Minimum design consultation fee, site visit, small foundation or bed layouts, bill of materials and drawings.
$100.00 – Typical plan for subdivision size lots, customer provides survey of lot and structures.
$400.00 - Master plan for subdivisions requiring approval drawings. Site plan required from customer.
$TBD- Major projects with retaining walls, water falls, and courtyards, cart paths to lake, lighting etc… customer supplies plat and topography.

Zone 7 does not view our design services as a profit center. Our professional computer generated layouts and comprehensive bill of materials are very cost effective. We provide these low cost services in order to earn your business at our retail garden center and our landscape construction and installation teams.
