Zone 7 Nursery was started as an offshoot of the owner’s love of plants and creative landscapes that utilize plants, stone, wood and water to create outdoor living spaces that match the homeowner’s lifestyles.
Zone 7 Landscapes, Inc. was started to meet the demand for master planning and construction of landscapes that are beyond the capabilities of the homeowners who came to the nursery. Our capabilities range from simple foundation designs all the way to full master plans for estates.
Zone 7 Landscapes, Inc. provides professionally designs landscape plans and installations for home and business owners. Plans are prepared in house by our designers. All designers are degreed and/or highly experienced in all phases of landscape construction. Our installers are all well trained and professional.
Design appointments are available Monday thru Friday beginning as early as 8AM. Prior to an appointment being made, we require that our “Landscape Design Questionnaire” be filled out. This questionnaire helps us clarify your expectations and defines the scope of the project. We will assign a designer that has experience with the type of project you have. Appointments will be promptly made, but anticipate at least a week lead time for the actual visit to your site.

All designs include a computer generated drawing and a comprehensive bill of materials. Plants are shown at mature size and to scale. Bills of materials include all plants, soils, mulches and labor costs if you choose to have Zone 7 Landscapes do the installation. Our designers will conceptualize the locations of walls, decks, footpaths, low voltage lighting, water features and other landscape elements. Labor costs would include drainage, grading, and other site work.
Most importantly, we are the nursery, the designer and the installers. This allows us many advantages. Our designers have an unlimited variety of plants to choose from. We control the quality through out the entire process. Our high profile retail locations give you confidence should any problems arise after the construction that you can find us easily.
For new homes, the best time is after the frame is up and before the final grade is established. Planning for drive and sidewalk locations and drainage is important.
For older homes, a fresh facelift can increase the resale value and should be implemented before being placed on the market.
Anytime existing landscaping does not compliment the homes attributes. Growing over windows, blocking views, improper scale, wrong plants for the amount of sun or shade are all good reasons to consider having a professional design completed for your home.
We stay busy year round in our mild zone 7 climate, but get extremely busy in late winter and spring.
